The recall work involved a major inspection of the engine and I questioned the Mike Scott, the Service Manager about it since the car was ready to go too quickly, by my way of thinking. Scott took me back into the shop at Freysinger Hyundai and showed an expensive-looking device that is used to inspect the connecting rod bearings on my 2016 Sonata Hybrid.It was done quickly with a scope...kinda like a colonoscopy! It was good to understand exactly what they had done to answer the NHTSA recall notice.

My 15,000 mile service took over an hour longer than it should have and we only received one update. When I got my car back, there were scratches on the rear right fender. Mike, the Supervisor jumped right into action to take care of it. When I come in for the inspection, he will take care of it then. Mike’s customer service is wonderful. Will continue to take my car to Freysinger for services.

I have been experiencing a severe safety issue with the lug nuts on my wheels becoming loose, especially the left front which almost caused me to lose my left front wheel three times. I had this issue addressed at another Hyundai dealer several times but it was never corrected. Freysinger Hyundai found an issue with corrosion on my wheels and brake rotors. They replaced the front rotors and removed the corrosion on the rear rotors and all four wheels. They told me to stop back in a couple of weeks to have them rechecked.
