How to get and maintain coverage
To qualify, your engine must have 48,000 miles or less to start and have been manufactured within the last 48 months. Also, the oil filter and air cleaner elements must be replaced and the emission control system must be maintained in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. Be sure to keep receipts.
  
   
Is the warranty transferable?
Yes—something that could prove very valuable if you sell your vehicle before it has gone 300,000 miles. Be sure to provide the new owner with copies of all receipts in order to keep the warranty in effect.
